An authentic campus climate of diversity, equity, and inclusion needs to be carefully constructed and reinforced within all areas of an institution to really make it work.

With 25+ years of experience growing international higher education programs, ACEI is uniquely situated to help your institution build global relationships to attract and retain international students and provide enriching opportunities. However, establishing these programs is not enough.

To support the full range of diversity at your institution (including international and domestic students, faculty, and staff), you need well thought-out systems in place with continued attention so that everyone is invested in maximizing the student experience.

What is Involved?

ACEI’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) consultants meet with you to discuss your goals, current DEI strategies (if any are in place), time-frame, and budget. From there we work with key stakeholders to better understand your specific needs. Each proposal is unique to the institution however, in our experience there are several areas of our expertise that are commonly needed:

  • Recruiting and retaining diverse talented professors, staff, and administrators.
  • Recruiting non-traditional students to study abroad and exchange programs, including locating funding sources and scholarships.
  • Developing counseling and support services for non-traditional study abroad and exchange students that work collaboratively with advising and other areas of your institution.
  • Building a welcoming inclusive climate for all to maximize the student experience.

ACEI-Global Consulting Group will provide all of your DEI training needs for faculty, administrators, and staff including subscription options for ongoing support. We also offer engaging "train the trainer " programs so you can leverage your own accomplished faculty and learning and development professionals in effecting systemic change that really sticks.
